What will this blog be about?  Well, to get it started, appearantly sarcasm.  It's called today in history.  I think we all know what it's going to be about. 

I have always loved history, reading every book I could get my hands on, then taking every course I could in school, then ... forgetting all about it when it became career time.  Sigh.  So, writing about it is how I stay in touch with history.  I pick a topic each week, and write a full post about it, trying to combine funny and learning.  I also have a daily twitter FOTD (Fact of the Day, for those new to trying to fit a whole sentance in the twittershpere) that you can follow at @HistoryFOTD (But I'll also link it here, so...well..whatever, follow them both)

My goal is 1 article a week, and a FOTD every week day, with the occasional bonus post thrown in.  Be my guide, be my judge, scream and yell at me if I screw up and forget!
